Salt
The
Next Course:
May 14th
Seven thought-provoking evenings in central London.
Engaging speakers. Meaty discussions. No judgement.
A space to explore life’s big questions
from a Christian perspective.
What is the
Salt Course?
The Salt Course is a space to explore life’s big questions, from a Christian perspective. You might be curious, sceptical or interested in exploring the Christian faith. Some are simply interested in having a good discussion about the stuff that matters. All backgrounds and beliefs are welcome.
Talking about things that really matter
We all have questions about life but rarely make time to grapple with them. We’ve created a context to explore our deepest desires and unanswered questions in a relaxed and informal environment. Each week, we’ll have a short talk and plenty of discussion in groups.
Christianity for sceptics
Aren’t we better off without religion? Most people assume so. But, have we been too quick to write off God? Each week we’ll ask what Christianity has to say to our irreligious age and consider how it connects with our deepest longings.
A space
to explore
Our goal is to create a non-judgmental and open environment to share our questions and opinions. No one will force their beliefs on you.
No question is off-limits.
All perspectives are welcome.
Who is the Salt Course for?
You might be curious, sceptical or interested in exploring the Christian faith. Some are simply interested in having a good discussion about the stuff that matters. All backgrounds and beliefs are welcome.
What happens in an evening?
When you arrive, you’ll be allocated to a table, which is a group of 6–10 people who’ll be with you for the course. We’ll begin with a (free!) dinner, courtesy of the good people at Costa Coffee. After that, we’ll have a short talk and a wide-ranging discussion on our tables, both about that week’s question.
Who are we?
The Salt Course is a free course put on by Grace London, a young church based in Waterloo. We’re a group of young professionals and students from a variety of backgrounds and nations.
Our main speaker, Jeremy Moses, grew up in a secular/Jewish family and became a Christian at university. He studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford, has worked in corporate strategy and now helps to lead Grace London.

The Salt course gave me the opportunity to ask myself questions that challenged the views that I had. It was an opportunity to discuss the meaning of life with others without judgement. The Salt course gave me a place to come to terms with all the big questions that I have and to accept them rather than resist them.

My experience at the Salt course was simply incredible. Everyone was so welcoming and people seemed really interested in getting to know you. I loved how the smaller discussion group provided a safe space for any number of questions. I really enjoyed the individual talks too, and the topics they addressed. I can honestly say that the 6-week course really changed my life in many different ways.

Salt did a lot of good for me. It really helped me shape a deeper understanding of faith's practical and theoretical strengths. The theories and ideas given from the main talks to the discussion on our own (very unique) table were always beneficial and I had a pretty enjoyable experience overall.
